MOI UNIVERSITY REFUTES CLAIMS ON STUDENT TRANSFERS

Moi University refutes claims by a viral fake memo circulated online, that alleged the institution's plans to transfer students to other universities due to financial insolvency

However, Moi University in its official social media accounts flagged the statement with a fake stamp attached to it to inform the students that the letter circulating and information written in it is fake.

The letter also advised affected students to monitor their student portals regularly and to cooperate fully with KUCCPS as they guide them through the transfer process.

It further noted that detailed instructions will be provided on the portal in due course and emphasized that prompt cooperation will be essential for a smooth transition.

Additionally, the flagged letter reminded students that, as outlined in the Vice Chancellor’s memo released earlier today, the graduation ceremony for the remaining two cohorts is scheduled for December 19, 2024.

“Further updates regarding this will be communicated in due course"

Additionally,Moi University assured students they are actively working with the relevant authorities to resolve the issues that led to the closure of the University. "We are optimist that learning will resume as possible" addition on that.
